Location:

The workshop will be held at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian, 9751 Washingtonian Blvd., Gaithersburg, Maryland. Gaithersburg is located approximately 25 miles northwest of Washington, DC. Three airports are easily accessible to the Gaithersburg area: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Baltimore Washington International Airport, and Dulles International Airport. The conference site was chosen due to its close proximity to Washington DC and the NIST and ARL SIMS Laboratoires

We expect that the Marriott will meet all needs of our attendees and their accompanying guests. This page provides all the necessary information about the Hotel and the reservations process. We strongly recommend that you use the Conference Hotel.

Rates:

SIMS Workshop attendees and their guests can stay at the conference hotel at a special rate that represents a discount over prevailing rates.

  Note: This rate is available three days before and after the conference on a space available basis. To receive this rate, please refer to the SIMS Workshop when making your reservation. Reservations made after April 4, 1999 will not be guaranteed the meeting rate. Parking for hotel guests is free.
