Evans Analytical Group (EAG) is a world leader as an independent analytical services provider.

EAG specializes in Microscopy, Surface Analysis and Semiconductor Testing services for a

wide range of industries including; Semiconductors, lighting, solar, energy storage, defense,

image sensors, polymers, catalysts and others. We are looking for a Scientist who can help us

meet our customers' goals. Responsibilities for this role include performing SIMS analysis using

PHI Quadrupole SIMS instrument to analyze and test new or existing semiconductor materials

to identify their properties and characteristics for the development or improvement of new or

existing products and prepare reports on analysis results for customers, including interpretation

of results. Studies the relationship between chemical and physical properties. Ensures

schedule, budget, and performance requirements are met.

Ideal candidates should have a MS or Ph.D. degree in either in Physics, Chemistry, Material

Science or Engineering with experience in materials characterization and surface analysis

techniques and equipment. Experience in analytical chemistry, with working knowledge of

characterization techniques: secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS), X-ray photoelectron

spectroscopy (XPS), and Auger spectroscopy, RBS, AFM, XRD, and FT-IR and with compound

semiconductor materials and/or ancillary technical experience is preferable.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms

Regulations (ITAR).All accepted applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR. ITAR
